The AIR Forum, the Association's annual conference, is the world’s largest gathering of higher education professionals working in institutional research, assessment, planning, and related postsecondary education fields. This four-day conference includes more than 300 presentations by colleagues representing all sectors of higher education and an Exhibit Hall featuring the latest tools and resources to support data use for decision making. We welcome members of the media to cover the meeting.

Media are invited to attend plenary, keynote, and concurrent sessions on a complimentary (space available) basis from the official opening of the meeting Tuesday afternoon through its close on Friday afternoon. Some receptions, the Board of Directors meeting, invitation-only events, and special sessions are closed to the media. Media must wear AIR’s media credential when onsite at the Forum for entry into sessions.

We encourage media to register in advance of the meeting to expedite the credentialing process.

Trade Press/Mainstream Media/Wire Services/Online Journalists: Please provide a business card and/or appropriate email signature. Only publications that feature original, regularly posted, or published editorial content about higher education will be considered. Personal newsletters, blogs, or web pages do not qualify.

Freelance Journalists: Please provide a letter of assignment from a publication fitting the qualifications listed above.

TV/Radio Broadcast Journalists: Please provide a business card and/or appropriate email signature, and a list of sessions of interest if recording. Note that the same qualifications apply to broadcast outlets as to trade press, mainstream media, etc.

For Onsite Registration: Members of the media who register onsite must provide a business card from a recognized news organization or a publication, and a letter of assignment upon their arrival at the meeting.

AIR reserves the right to refuse credentials to those who do not meet eligibility requirements.
