New for 2012
This year we have added new events and adjusted the schedule to make participation
in the Forum an even more outstanding professional experience.
Arrive by Noon Sunday
Forum registration opens at noon. The afternoon includes new educational events
to kick off the Forum. Arrive by noon to take advantage of all the new Sunday educational
events, or come earlier to participate in Pre-conference workshops.
Sunday Schedule
Sunday afternoon educational events (3:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.) provide
a rich variety of focused topics in areas of interest to AIR members including examining
international issues, new reporting requirements, and the latest issues in assessment
and IR.
Regional Affiliated Organizations meetings will facilitate networking
and discussions of regional IR issues. Dinner groups will provide opportunities
to keep the conversation going while exploring New Orleans cuisine.
Monday Schedule
A Plenary Session and Breakfast starts the day on Monday. Enjoy
a full breakfast (included in your registration) and keynote by Dr. Jane Wellman,
known for fearlessly using data to bust myths about higher education policy issues.
Plan to sit with old friends or use this time to make new ones. Food, conversation,
and inspiration launch the first full day of the Forum.
Wednesday Schedule
Closing Brunch will be served at 10:00 a.m. (included in your registration).
The Forum will officially close at noon to allow travel time for return flights.
Stay until noon Wednesday to take advantage of all the Forum has
to offer – or take advantage of AIR’s special group rate at the hotel to stay on
for a well-earned vacation.
