White Paper Discussion Groups

The White Paper Discussion Groups are a new way for members with two or more years of IR experience to participate in the Forum. Under the direction of a recognized leader in IR, each group will meet for discussions focused on the future of higher education and institutional research.

White Paper Discussion Groups will meet from 1:00 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Each group will consist of three discussion leaders and 15 selected participants. In a structured setting, each group will organize ideas and generate main points for a white paper on one of eight topics listed below. The small group setting is designed to produce rich discussions and engage all participants in the development of these multi-perspective white papers. Each participant will be credited as a co-author of the white paper, which will be published after the Forum.

Participation is only open to the individuals selected through the nomination process to assure that each group has a variety of members from all sectors of higher education. Participation is limited to eight groups of 15. Notifications will be sent to all applicants by March 19, 2010.
