White Paper Discussion Groups

The White Paper Discussion Groups are a new way for members with two or more years of IR experience to participate in the Forum. Under the direction of a recognized leader in IR, each group will meet for discussions focused on the future of higher education and institutional research.

White Paper Discussion Groups will meet from 1:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Each group will consist of three discussion leaders and 15 selected participants. In a structured setting, each group will organize ideas and generate main points for a white paper on one of eight topics listed below. The small group setting is designed to produce rich discussions and engage all participants in the development of these multi-perspective white papers. Each participant will be credited as a co-author of the white paper, which will be published after the Forum.

Nomination Process

Participation is only open to the individuals selected through the nomination process to assure that each group has a variety of members from all sectors of higher education. Participation is limited to eight groups of 15. Notifications will be sent to all applicants by March 19, 2010.
